We know that finding just the right home for a narrow lot can be difficult, so we work hard to create and expand a portfolio of plans that work for any lot. This home, at 30′, might not be the skinniest plan, but it still opens up a ton of options for lots on the smaller end.

The exterior of the home is in a cool, calm prairie/modern style that puts you at ease before you even set foot in the home. The main floor is open and easy, with a connected great room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is easily maintained, and has a large island that’s perfect for gathering/entertaining. Just off of the dining room you’ll see a small patio that looks over the backyard.

We’ve designed the upper floor around all four bedrooms, each one carefully zoned for maximum privacy there is an option to convert the bonus room in the front right of the upper floor into a fourth bedroom buy simply adding a closet. The primary bedroom has all of the accommodations you’d want, including a fully featured en suite bathroom and a large walk-in closet. To round out the upper floor, there is a comfortable utility room and another full bath.

Shed Roof One Story Modern House Plan

This stylish, shed roof design gives you a fully featured home without the hassle and maintenance concerns of a much larger floor plan. You’ll get everything you need in a one story modern house plan.

Coming into the home from the porch, you’ll find yourself at the heart of the living area. The dining room and (vaulted) living room are completely open to each other, which makes for an infinitely configurable furniture layout. A fireplace sets the tone for the living room, and sliding doors open up to the back porch. Just past the dining room is the U-shaped kitchen. Here, the appliances are thoughtfully spaced and there is ample counter space. A corner pantry gives plenty of food storage and a half island connects the kitchen to the dining room.

On the other leg of this L-shaped home are both of the bedrooms as well as both of the bathrooms. Expansive Rustic Modern Farmhouse Plan

Where to begin with his home? We’ve taken our favorite elements from the rugged, country style barns and homes of yesteryear and combined them with a fresh, updated floor plan to create what we call a rustic modern farmhouse.

Diving right into the floor plan, we’ll start at the foyer. As soon as you’re in the home, you’ll be swept away by the dramatic vaulted ceilings above you. Immediately to the right is a guest powder room, as well as a full bedroom suite, complete with a large full bath. On the other side of the foyer we’ve included a sizable den with a ten foot ceiling. Further into the home you’ll be taken to a broad and expansive living area that consists of the great room, dining room, and kitchen. The vaulted great room gives way at the back and opens to a huge bonus room. The kitchen is a home cook’s dream. A huge island, tons of counter space, a massive walk-in pantry, and easy access to the outdoor dining space all contribute to create the ultimate kitchen.

Back behind the kitchen is the main bedroom suite, which itself is full of deluxe features. Facing the rear of the home, the bedroom gets tons of light and takes full advantage of a rear view. The bathroom includes a custom tub and shower, dual sinks, private toilet, and one of the biggest walk-in closets we’ve put in a home! The smaller upper floor includes two large, identically sized vaulted bedrooms with a full bathroom between the two.

A few other key features round out this rustic modern farmhouse. As soon as you look at the floor plan you’ll notice the sprawling covered patio out back that works beautifully for warm weather relaxation and entertaining. A large L-shaped garage (with bonus shop space) completes the plan.

Prairie Style One Story Custom Home

For those that want the ultimate in style, comfort, and ease of livability/maintenance, look no further. This is a one story custom home that offers up heaps of prairie charm and a floor plan that trims the fat, giving you everything you need and nothing you don’t. The low, hip roof line flows with the surrounding landscape and promotes a sense of calm and ease.

The foyer of this home sweeps from left to right, connecting the two bedrooms, and then gives away straight ahead to the central living space. This home’s kitchen comes with ample counter space, cabinet space, and a large island with a second sink. The bedrooms are symmetrically positioned on either end of the home, and are virtually identical save for the location of the bathroom door. The left bedroom includes the bathroom as part of the suite whereas the entrance to the bathroom on the right is in the hallway to allow access for guests.

Accessed via a number of exits, a large lanai graces the back of the home and stretches from bedroom to bedroom and across the great room. For those that can build on a lot with a rear view, this might be the perfect home! Closing out the home is a three car garage on the right side that can be entered via the lanai or the front patio.

Rustic Farmhouse with an Awesome Lower Floor

From the front, you would think you were looking at a modestly sized, single story rustic farmhouse, but from the back, you can see all this home has to offer. With a lower floor that’s perfect for entertaining and a style that perfectly captures the spirit of the classic farmhouse, we know you’ll fall in love.

Inside, after walking by a walk-in hall closet, you’ll see the lovely kitchen, complete with a huge island that provides lots of extra counter space, a long, L-shaped main counter with thoughtfully placed appliances, and a window out front placed above the sink. The main bedroom suite is on the main floor at the back left corner. Access to the rear covered deck allows for quiet, relaxed mornings with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise, and a large window on the side lets in tons of natural light. Starting with the exterior, you’ll most likely be drawn to the three car garage at front and center. After parking in the garage, you’ll pass the dog wash at the back which comes with a sink and a full length wash bay. From here, there are two options: head straight to go through the utility room, or head right to get to the foyer.

Once at the foyer, you’ll immediately see the beautiful two story formal dining room on your left and the vaulted study on your right. Straight ahead lies a very special great room with a two story vaulted ceiling, plenty of built-ins, and a fireplace. We’re proud to present Schubert to you, a one story farmhouse style home with a unique and lovely floor plan.

A modest porch welcomes you into the breezy 18′ ceiling foyer, from where you can go to the right and find two large bedrooms, or straight ahead to the central living core. An Executive House Plan with the Master on the Main Floor

Truly a home for the most discerning customer, this executive house plan is chock full of all the features that the busy professional needs to feel comfortable at home.

Jumping right into the tour of the home, you’ll enter either through the three car garage or through the front door through the foyer. Coming in through the foyer, you’ll immediately see the first of many desirable features: the den. With an 11′ ceiling and a large window out towards the front of the home, you’ll get a comfortable, spacious, and relaxing place to finish a little work at home. We’ve value engineered this home to be easy on the wallet when it comes time to build, but don’t feel like that means you’re missing out. Park in the driveway or the two car garage and enter the home through the foyer. Past the powder room and coat close you’ll be taken to the bulk of the main floor. The main floor of this home includes a breezy, open concept living space, a powder room, and a small private patio. On the upper floor we’ve managed to fit four generously sized bedrooms, along with a main bathroom suite and walk-in closet that gives you everything you need. Two Story Barn House Plan with Easy Living Floor Plan

The rustic, charming farmhouse style has taken complete hold of the country’s design eye. We have helped to pioneer this resurgence of classic farmhouse design, and have put all of our creative energy into bringing what we feel are some of the finest offerings in this style. This two story barn house plan is no different, and offers a comforting, warm exterior paired with an easily maintained and perfectly sized floor plan.

This home utilizes a rear entry garage and a small front facing c0vered patio, so our tour will start at the back of the floor plan. As you enter the home, a short foyer gives way past a hall closet to a semi open main living space. A fully featured U-shaped kitchen sits just beyond the garage/to the left of the dining room, which helps to keep the food prep separate from the gathering spaces. Gathering kitchens have become very popular, but there are still many who prefer the more traditional model of a more separated kitchen. The other big feature of the first floor is the private main bedroom suite. This suite gets lots of light thanks to its corner position and large sets of windows.

The upper floor houses all of the rest of the bedrooms. Up the stairs, you’ll first see the utility room, conveniently located for easy access for all upstairs rooms as well as the main floor suite.
