MA-2136 I designed this handsome Arts and Crafts style town home for a large national builder as an entry into the upper end multi-family market in Portland, Oregon. I put a vast two story great room as the heart of the plan, with a unique home office area near the stairway. The garage is big enough for two cars with enough room left over for a big shop at the rear. Your buyers will love the upper floor, with a master suite complete with sitting room, an upstairs den/bedroom for a total of three bedrooms. And this town home looks great. Simply unmatched in appearance. We also designed this townhouse for affordability throughout. The roof construction is pre-fab trusses at a 5:12 pitch. If you want to build upper end attached housing, look no further then this plan at only 30 feet wide per unit.

M-2121 If you have a steep lot with a view to the rear this house could be for you. As shown this plan has a large central great room surrounded by dining, kitchen, den and a great master suite down the hall and to the left. Downstairs are two bedrooms for the kids and a nice sized recreation/bonus room. This comprises 2121 sq. ft. BUT and this is a big but, if your lot and budget allow you can easily add over 1000 more square feet here during construction or at a later expansion date. And this space can be added inexpensively. The house is value engineered, to insure you the most value for your housing dollar. And the Arts and Crafts good looks are timeless.

An outstanding country design, coupled with an intelligent floor plan offer the most home for your money in this size catagory. I set out here to give you a charming home that would be suitable for a growing family and also work extremley well for a couple. This design has been built over the years by builders, families, and a good number of empty nesters. Just look at the floor plan…. Three large bedrooms with the Master on the Main floor along with a huge bonus area. I think this is one of the most flexible and certainly most popular designs in our portfolio.

I was inspired by my oldest son to design this home (in fact he did most of the preliminary work). The sophisticated rotunda leads to one of the most efficient smaller homes I have ever designed. If you have a family of 4 or 5, this is the perfect house for you. It has a spacious 3 car garage with the utility room just inside the door as well as a private powder room. The bonus room is large and there are separate living and dining rooms.

This 35 foot wide home works well on any lot. The main floor features a generous great room, formal dining room, and a den. The kitchen is open to the great room allowing for easy living. Upstairs are four large bedrooms and a large and comfortable master suite. The architecture is a Hampton’s Shingle style (elegantly detailed yet easy to build). The front porch provides a cozy entry to the home. At just over 2000 square feet, you can have a very comfortable home at a very good price.

I originally designed this home as a production house in a higher end starter Home project. It has turned into a wonderfully popular design. I placed a large family room near the oversized kitchen and nook. I put a shop in the garage, and hid the stairway from the entry in keeping with good feng shui principles. I put three generous bedrooms upstairs along with a huge bonus room. The Master suite is vaulted, as is the bonus room which is open to the stair.. Best of all this is an affordable home to build and at 34 feet wide will fit anywyere. The good looking craftsman exterior is easy on the eyes, and carries this noble architectural style to new levels in affordable housing.

This is an excellent downhill plan. This home is designed in the Arts and Crafts era style and would work perfectly in any neighborhood. This home is only 38 feet deep, making it affordable to build on even the steepest downhill lot. The lower level comes with two additional bedrooms and a rec room. The bonus is the area to the right of the stairway which can be finished for an additional 400 square feet at little cost. The plan comes with everything you need to construct this home on a daylight basement lot. It is a proven design and has been successful for builders and homeowners alike. This plan also has different elevations available if you prefer a different look.
