angelo –
can you send me a email with the rear elevation.
Mark Stewart –
That elevation has been added to the website Angelo..
Tracy Rheams –
would love the den and craft room removed and the half bath in the hallway. Just don’t need a house that big but with those changes would be perfect. Is that able to be done?
Mark Stewart –
Yes Tracy that could certainly be done. Let us know where you are going to be building and we can get you a quote.
Thanks very much

I’ve been searching for homes of this size with ample room for a ground level man-cave and my husband loves this one with the workshop space. He wants to have a game/ trophy room in that space. I’m trying to imagine the exterior with a lighter coastal palette, reminiscent of my summers on the cape. More a grey and white weathered look for our new home site in coastal Carolina. Love the den and craft room space too, I see the FLW influences here! Do you think this Lodge plan could translate to the low country?
Mark Stewart –
Yes Jennifer it would be fantastic in that color palette..
Tammy –
Do you have rendering of walkout basement and square footage it adds? Also, kitchen dimensions?
Mark Stewart –
HI Tammy
The kitchen is 23 ft x 11 ft plus the breakfast nook area. I sent you via email a rough sketch of a current basement layout we are working on. With a daylight basement we would customize it for your lot.. An in ground basement is a simple concrete basement with minimal walls and windows..
Penny –
Just the style we’re looking for. Could the utility room be moved to the craft room, the half bath eliminated, and the second bedroom be enlarged to include the old utility room? Also is it possible for the master bath shower to not be in a bumped out wall? We plan on building on our property in Valley County, Idaho. What snow load is the roof designed to withstand? Thanks.
Mark Stewart –
Yes to all of the above Penny. Current snow load is for Bend Oregon… up in the mountains.. I believe it is 65# PSF currently. ..
Ashley –
This is exactly what we have been looking for! Is it possible to see a layout with a basement and/or walkout basement? Where exactly would the stairs go in order to get down there? Lastly, are there any more available photos of what a possible basement and shop may look like? Thank you in advance!
Mark Stewart –
We create the basement for each client . The stair typically goes where the little craft room is.

I have been looking at house plans for a very long time now and this is the first one I have come across that almost has everything we are looking for. I too would love for the utility room to be the craft room instead maybe access from the WIC? May I have the dimensions of the nook. My husband is concerned the kitchen nook area is a bit too small. Can we bump out the kitchen and the nook? One last thing then it’s absolutely. Our lot is narrow by eliminating the utility room can we turn the garages on an angel? We are building in the same development in Edgewood Washington where there is a new construction listed by Becker Homes and you are listed as the architect.
Mark Stewart –
The nook is currently 8 x 8 feet. The garage is turned at an angle on this option to that plan https://markstewart.com/house-plans/lodge-house-plans/telluride/

The nook is 8 x 8, and we can make those other changes as well.. There is a new version of this on our website called Telluride.. It has the garage angled, as well as a Bonus Studio above the garage
Jodie mayer –
Love this plan.I have the same request as above about moving the utility room to the craft room closer to the master and eliminating the utility room as we need to turn the garage on an angle to accommodate our lot. Additionally my husband is concerned the kitchen is a bit to small and would like to bump the window and nook out. With these changes the plan is truly perfect. I found your name by a listing on the development we just bought a lot in Edgewood WA. Becker Homes. We are lot 8. Look forward to hearing back from you in the next day or two as we need to have feasibility to close the loan. Thank you in advance.
Mark Stewart –
We can definitely make those changes. Have you seen this version with the angled garage? https://markstewart.com/house-plans/lodge-house-plans/telluride/
