Stellar Modern Home Design with an Incredible Floor Plan

With three floors, six bedrooms, and four and a half bathrooms, there’s virtually nothing this modern home design can’t handle. The exterior of the home perfectly balances the edgy and classy, while the floor plan includes enough space to accommodate just about anyone and anything.

Starting in on the main floor, you’ll see a gorgeous two story foyer flanked on either side by a formal dining room and a den with a 14′ ceiling. Further into the home, you’ll pass the staircase on the left and a powder room on the right before arriving in the sprawling open concept living space. We’ve designed it have a great feeling of symmetry and calmness. The layout of this one story modern house plan is uncomplicated, elegant, and understated. The exterior offers a style that we would describe as prairie inspired northwest modern.

The shed roof design has become one of our most popular exteriors for two story modern house plans. On this home, the roof lines come together to suggest symmetry and to firmly ground the front door. Including a side entry garage also allows for a cleaner front to the home, something many desire in a modern design.

Enter through the front door and arrive at the modest foyer which includes a comfortable den/guest room to the right. A Mid Century Modern Ranch Home for the 21st Century

Taking notes from the ever popular design ethos of yesteryear, “Vanport” is a lovely mid century modern ranch style home with the perfect blend of size and ease of livability. Two bedrooms, Two baths, and not a square foot wasted.

You’ll be greeted to your new home by subtly asymmetric exterior with a shed roof design that is both elegant and striking. Once inside, a flowing foyer will take you past the first of the two bedrooms, a nearby full bathroom, a sizable den, and the utility room, before finally reaching the grand central living core consisting of the dining room, great room, and kitchen. A Two Story Modern House Plan for a Narrow Lot

It can be difficult to find the right home for a narrow lot, but we want to make it easy. Columbia Ridge 7 is a two story modern house plan that comes in at 27′ wide, making it a great choice for a wide range of lots. The design works very well on an alley lot, and has entrances both through the dining room from the street and a more formal foyer near the garage.

We’ll start our tour as if you’re coming in after pulling into the garage. Right inside from the garage is a conservative foyer with a coat closet and a powder room. Down the hall, you’ll come to the main living area. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all flow together to create a sense of peace and promote family gathering. In the living room, you’ll get tons of light from the large windows, and you’ll be cozy in the colder months with a fireplace complete with built-ins on the wings. The kitchen includes a nicely sized island in the middle and a generous pantry next to the fridge.

All four bedrooms are on the upper floor, including the fully featured master suite. Bedrooms two, three, and four are all similarly sized, and each get a unique view from a different corner of the home. Also on this floor is a full bathroom and the utility room. Few things project an air of class and elegance quite like a beautiful northwest modern house plan. Francisco is a two story, 2800+ square foot home with a lovely, unique floor plan. Every angle of the exterior has been considered and designed to be stunning from all sides.
