Built in storage flanks the fireplace in the great room, while a set of folding doors open up the rear covered lanai. The kitchen is in an efficient layout that maximizes the usable square footage in the great room.

We’ve designed this plan to have two virtually identical, mirrored bedrooms that benefit from the same set of deluxe features. 9′ ceilings make the rooms feel even more open, and each bedroom gets its own private access door to the lanai. The only difference between the two bedrooms is that bedroom number one includes an en suite bathroom, while the second bedroom has the bathroom just outside the door (this can double as a guest bathroom). Rounding out the floor plan is a sizable three car garage with room enough to convert one bay into a creative space, shop, pantry, gym, or anything else you can imagine.

A Mid Century Modern Ranch Home for the 21st Century

Taking notes from the ever popular design ethos of yesteryear, “Vanport” is a lovely mid century modern ranch style home with the perfect blend of size and ease of livability. Two bedrooms, Two baths, and not a square foot wasted.

You’ll be greeted to your new home by subtly asymmetric exterior with a shed roof design that is both elegant and striking. Once inside, a flowing foyer will take you past the first of the two bedrooms, a nearby full bathroom, a sizable den, and the utility room, before finally reaching the grand central living core consisting of the dining room, great room, and kitchen. No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you, this skinny house is only 17′ wide. With two floors and over 2000 square feet, one might wonder where everything goes in this home! We’ve made sure every part of this modern home feels both accessible and private and maintains the feeling of flow and space one would expect from a wider home. The foyer escorts you past the one car garage to the coat closet, staircase, and powder room, large U-shaped kitchen, and open dining room and great room. The great room includes a fireplace and sliding door access to the rear covered porch. Upstairs are all three bedrooms, as well as the utility room, study, and an additional full bathroom. The second and third bedroom are located at the front of the home and share a full bathroom (with two sinks) between them. We’ve angled the hallway walls, lending to a smoother sense of flow through the home, as well as to give more space to the bedrooms. The outer two homes share a reversed floor plan, as do the center, larger homes. The main floor layouts across all four are very similar, with the primary changes being square footage, garage size, and kitchen layout.
