Byers Family Dream Home is Finally Revealed
on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Legend Homes and Mark Stewart Home Design collaborate to create
a safe, energy efficient and beautiful home for the Byers family of
Corvallis Oregon, in partnership with the ABC national television program
"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition".
Corvallis, OR (PRWEB) July 15, 2007 -- This afternoon, a hectic week
of construction came to an end as hundreds of volunteers and spectators
stood in anticipation as Ty Pennington of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home
Edition enthusiastically shouted, "Move that Bus," and the Byers' green-built
dream home was finally revealed.
A beautiful 3,980 square foot, Northwest Contemporary-style home resides
where the original home used to sit just one week ago. Complete with
four bedrooms and three and one-half bathrooms, this one-story home
offers an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings in many of the rooms,
including a large great room with a row skylights bringing in rays of
natural sunlight. The front of the home has been neatly landscaped with
grass and shrubbery accenting the driveway; to the rear of the home,
a Koi pond has been installed, providing outdoor serenity as it overlooks
the remainder of the two-acres lot.

Mark Stewart worked with the Extreme Makeover Design Team to create
the custom home. Stewart was thrilled to finally meet the Byers family
last Saturday and was moved beyond words when Mrs. Byers broke down
in tears when she discovered that Mark Stewart Home Design would be
doing the home. This is Stewart's second design for Extreme Makeover:
Home Edition; the first was in Lawton, OKLA.
